We are pleased to announce that Geoffrey Edlund and Tania Fernando will be presenting at RMIT University. This will be the fourth seminar in our series. Geoffrey Edlund is the Associate Director of Business Intelligence at The University of Melbourne. He provides expert analysis and advice and has 18 years experience across a range of industries in analytical leadership positions. Tania Fernando is a Business Intelligence Analyst at The University of Melbourne and has extensive experience using learning analytics in university settings.
This practical workshop will take you through a hands-on example of working with student and learner data. You will learn how to apply basic statistical methods to data to create insights and recommendations for instructors and students. The session will also cover some of the privacy and ethical aspects of using data.
